Zanewood hosts Winter Engineering Night

Zanewood hosts Winter Engineering Night

Zanewood Community: A STEAM School and the school’s partners teamed up on Jan. 30 to put on a Winter Engineering Night for the school’s students. Partners included Boston Scientific, createMPLS, Cody Savvy and the Park Center Pirates Robotics Team.

Students and their caregivers could visit a multitude of engaging booths in the school’s gym, some of which include ski slope and bobsled building to build understanding of basic physics, testing the magnetism of various objects, a couple of different coding activities such as Cubelets and Beebots, paper airplanes, igloo building, and various science games to help students understand the human body and medical technology.

The event also featured a pizza dinner in the cafeteria.
