Zanewood Community STEAM School hosted an Engineering Night on Sept. 28, with plenty of opportunities for the school’s scholars and their families to explore, create and enjoy themselves.
Members of the Park Center Senior High School Robotics team were on-hand to help students try their hand at navigating their team’s robot, while Boston Scientific, Create Minneapolis and Zanewood staff members ran over a dozen other booths featuring science, technology, engineering and math (STEM)-related activities. Slime-making, virtual reality headsets, and coding, building and math games are just a few examples of activities kids and families could participate in.
Outside, Zanewood families could enjoy a beautiful evening with a Filipino food truck and picnic tables out front.
