On the evening of May 22, students, families and staff from Zanewood Community STEAM School gathered to show off a year’s worth of science, technology, engineering, arts and mathematics (STEAM) learning and celebrate another successful school year.

As part of the Ordway Theater for the Performing Arts' commitment to keeping performances accessible and affordable, the organization recently partnered with Zanewood Community: A STEAM School to bring a performance from Afoutayi Dance Music & Arts to the school May 9.

The Minnesota Association of School Administrators (MASA) recently announced their 2025 Regional Administrators of Excellence, and Osseo Area Schools’ Superintendent, Dr. Kim Hiel, has been recognized as the organization’s award winner for region nine.
